A Clinical Study on the Radiology of Ischemic Stroke

Abstract

Stroke is the second leading cause of mortality worldwide. Patients present with varied clinical presentations. To evaluate the clinical profile and radiological profile of ischemic stroke patients. To assess the outcome in relation to various clinical and radiological presentations using National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). NIHSS is helpful in identifying persons with stroke from those suspected to have stroke. Knowledge about identifying and reading radiological investigations will help in assessing the severity of stroke.
