The Differences and Prospects Between the Cryptocurrency Market and the Equity Market in the Financial Structure of Nigeria

Abstract

The rapid growth of cryptocurrencies is accompanied by a growing debate. Many countries have been trying to ban cryptocurrencies, and those that do not explicitly do so have very vague legal status. But there is no denying the impact on financial markets. This paper attempts to explore the similarities and differences between the stock market and the cryptocurrency market, and to explore the differences and prospects of these markets in the financial structure of Nigeria.
